Tshok Service Day
I like myself when i am volunteering in such activities and my one and only motivation to volunteer in services is I want myself make some changes in the community and try to accommodate self-satisfaction.
it was service of making the offerings to the god.(TSHOK) The day started with readying the materials for the day like 120 kg flour, 5 kg finger chips, 10liter oil.
we were divided into groups and worked in making the offering. some of us frying, some making, some transportation. with the dedication of all the volunteers we were able to make a good result.
As our service was to make offerings in the (MELAM CHENMO, SAMTSE) it benefited almost all the peoples of Samtse as the offering were to be distributed to every household.
I learned how to make the offerings in different ways and also knew how to fry the things in a large quantity and it gave me the skills that would help me very much in the future. I also learned that working in a group brings more of happiness than making lonely.
