Tshechu Crowd Management: A Field Experience

I chose this project because participating in Tshechu crowd-control duty gave me a chance to experience something beyond the usual classroom environment. I wanted to understand how large gatherings are organized, how people’s safety is maintained, and how teamwork and responsibility are important during public events. This experience also helped me appreciate the effort that goes into making a Tshechu safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.
I carried out this project by taking part in the Tshechu crowd control duty. I followed the instructions given by the organizers, helped guide people through crowded areas, and made sure pathways remained clear. I also observed how the team communicated and worked together to maintain order and safety. After the duty, I reflected on my experience and recorded what I learned from participating in the event.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility, patience, and communication. I realized that managing a large crowd requires everyone to cooperate and stay alert. I also learned how important it is to remain calm and respectful while dealing with different people. Most importantly, the experience taught me that even small responsibilities can contribute to the safety and success of a community event.
