The Scout Troop 31 "Damas y Caballeros de la Alianza" celebrated more than 20 years of scouting as part of one of key programs at Covenant House Street Kids Center HONDURAS. Started back in 1984, volunteer scout leaders incorporated Scouts programme as one of many ways to reach street kids in Tegucigalpa city center. After 20 years, the impact of scouting in the life of the first beneficiaries is life changing. to encourage more kids currently taking part of Tropa 31. Juan Carlos Avila and Maria Antonia in collaboration with Covenant House and external donors, organized a camp to celebrate and share the 1st scout generation success stories. Heading to Valle de Angeles Scout Camp, Young scouts and Scouts leaders started sharing expectations, songs and adventures. A two day camp with team building activities, scout fire and testimonials marked a new beginning for previous beneficiaries to become Scout Leaders.
