TROOP 1553 WOOHA ORCAS CLEAN HIKING

Improving the local environment through clean hiking and encouraging the general public to participate. Go on a local hike at least twice a month and collect more than 60 liters of garbage (at least three 20 liters of standard garbage bag)
1) Through regular hiking you can train your mind and body as a scout. 2) By cleaning up trash on your local hiking course, 3) it will improve the environment and promote the importance of environmental protection to general hikers and visitors. 4) Distributing clean hiking stickers to visitors, 5) will lead to promoting the scout’s lessons of protecting the environment and scout activity (a daily good turn) to the general public.
Nevertheless, according to the district office, when a temporary garbage dump is installed around the Sanseong Pass, most people throw away the trash they need to take back. In the case of the holiday season, 15 tons of garbage is generated every week. The purpose of the project is to improve the environment, contribute to the community through scouting with nature, and to realize scout value to create a better world with the goal of clean hiking more than twice a month.
