Troop 1206 is collecting new children's books for the Helena Montana area Community Christmas Sharing program which provides items to needy children during the Christmas season.  Scouts will be doing book drives at local book stores to collect books so that needy families can provide children books to thier children this Christmas. Our Book drive on November 17 collected 145 books, valued at $1400.  Our book total will continue to grow as we collect a fair amount in cash donations which we will buy more books with. We finished with 168 books collected valued at more than $1500.  We handed our books out on December 15th at the Helena Cathedral.
