Tree Planting Activity at MHIS

What inspires me to participate in this project is that our ecosystem has not been better in the past years and I think that we need to change it and we can start by planting trees, crops, vines, etc. in our houses and streets but we decided to start in school. In this project, my main motivation was to help the environment to be better. I believe that participating in this kind of activity will help our environment to be healthier and with that people will benefit from it.
This project was located at Mabini Homesite Integrated School, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. This project was conducted on May 17, 2022 and it started around 3:00 pm and we finished at 4:30 pm in the afternoon. The Outfit Adviser of the school tells us what to do first and how to do it and our Rover Leader Sir George Cabalce guides us with the instructions given by the Outfit Adviser. After the meeting we immediately started our tree planting.
In this project it impacted many things. The school, the environment and of course us. The impact of it to the school is very helpful because it made the school a better place. It helps our environment a lot because trees fights erosions and prevents landslides. The impact to me is very overwhelming because I knew that I helped our environment by simply planting trees and I think that alone is a big contribution to help our environment.
Our ecosystem is in a bad shape and we humans must protect it and try to improve it for the betterment of our world. In this project I learned that nature needs us humans. Trees and plants needs us to take care of them, to love them and to treasure them so that they can also protect us in return. Trees protects us from landslides and floods, Trees serves as shade when the weather is hot. Plants provides us fruits and vegetables. I also learned that communication is important in this project.
