To observe the Social Forestry Day and the World Environment Week, a group of scouts planted about 100 pine tree saplings approximately. 

World Enrironment Week is observed from 1st to 5th June Annually. But in Bhutan 2nd June is celebrated Nationwide to commemorate the Coronataion His Majesty The Fourth King of Bhutan. His Majesty the King was crowned as the 4th King of Bhutan on 2nd June, 1974. People of Bhutan mark this special day every year by planting trees across the country.
