Tree Plantation for a Beautiful Environment 2024
As Scouts, we are taught to serve our community and protect the environment. We wanted to take a small step towards change by seeing how our streets are filled with heat, dust and pollution. The idea of turning dull concrete dividers into green, living spaces inspired us not only to beautify the city, but to create a clean, healthy future for all.
We selected a suitable road divider and purchased 1000 saplings. We distributed some saplings to various schools and colleges in our vicinity and arranged for 700 saplings, soil and equipment, then planted the trees with proper care and spacing. We were able to plant 70 saplings every day. In this way, we continued our work for 10 days. We planted the remaining 300 saplings inside and around their schools. Then we set a routine of regular watering and maintenance to ensure their healthy growth.
We've learned that even a small act like planting a tree can have a big impact. It has taught us teamwork, responsibility, and the importance of caring for the environment to build a better future. We are working to ensure a beautiful and sustainable environment for our present and future.
