In the area around Camp BDSR near Red Leather Lakes, CO much of the forest has been slowly destroyed by the pine beetle.  with this destructive force the Scout camp saw it fit to plant new trees and bring the forrest in a slow proccess back to how it was before the trees were being eaten by the beetle.  I gathered about 10 of us in my crew and we spent a long day planting over 700 new trees that will one day grow as tall as the old trees that and replenish the camp.  After a long hard day of work my team helped the forest start its recovery process.
