I as the coordinator of the UNESCO CLUB at Bjibjokha LSS in Punakha led the TRASHTAG CHALLENGE, a nation wide program along with some 58 participants; 13 club members, a crew of 5 members from the Health faculty, 2 teacher colleagues and 37 scout volunteers in the small town of Samdingkha area. The three hours cleaning campaign was followed by a sensitization program by the Health staffs with students to those who reside by the town area focussing on the impacts of plastic use on the environment, health issues, disposal of wastes,global warming and the 3Rs( Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)
