The annual week long Kullu Dusserra is an International Folk Dance Festival. During the festival more than people from different parts of the world come to enjoy the colors and for the local people, it is the shopping time. Now a days the traffic jam is a big problem as there are so many vehicles in the area. The people get stuck in the Jam for a long period and as a result they can't enjoy the festival. Our Group i.e. The Rovers and Rangers of Government Degree College, Kullu decided to help the local Police in managing the traffic during the festival. The Superintendent of Police, Kullu welcomed the initiative and formed teams comprising The Scouts ( 11 Rovers 7 Rangers and our Group Leader Mam Sunita) and Police Officials. We planned the routes and Parking Slots and managed the traffic. Our efforts made the traffic movement smooth to an extent and the public enjoyed the festival without any chaos. We are happy that we maintained Peace in the minds of the visitors. We are Scouts and We are Messengers of Peace.
