Traffic Management
During Eid, everyone goes back to their home town. This increases the traffic pressure in certain places in the district town. The passenger pressure increases at the junction of North Circular Road and Amatli in Thakurgaon town. Therefore, traffic control activities are carried out by the Thakurgaon District Rover.
On March (24-26), 2025, a total of 24 Rover Scouts provided passenger services in two shifts daily. The first shift was from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and the second shift was from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We provide passenger service for about 4 hours every day. Due to this passenger service, discipline is maintained and the vehicles move very smoothly. We also have a different kind of happiness within ourselves.
From this traffic awareness project, I have gained experience working with members of other voluntary organizations while being in responsible places. We always have to work in a positive direction. I have understood how to see the problems that arise while working in public places as positive. Overall, I am satisfied as a volunteer.
