Together against Dengue
Dengue has suddenly spread all around Bangladesh .More than 170 people died recently and around 33000 people hospitalized due to the massive outbreak of dengue . Our city is also in high risk. So we, some of the scouts of Comilla Zilla School took actions to make people aware about this life-taking disease.
We completed our project & took action for 1 week. First of all, our volunteer team arranged a huge workshop on Dengue spread everyday for 5 days. More than 200 scouts and students attended our workshop. Many scout personalities attended our workshop. In the day six & seven, our scout volunteers conducted a Cleanliness program. We cleaned our school area, specially those places where dengue mosquitoes can take birth.
About 150 scouts and 2000 students & their family got benefits for our workshop. We cleaned our school, so that the area of our school is free from dengue.
Conducting this project, we learned about the importance of hygiene. We now know the importance of being responsible. We learned how to be safe from Dengue & most other deadly diseases that spread from natural things.
