Tides of Action
The scouts were motivated by their desire to protect the environment, serve the community, and make a real difference in keeping Iligan’s coastlines clean and safe. They wanted to show leadership, inspire others, and help build a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.
They executed the project through organized teamwork and strong community collaboration. They coordinated with partner agencies, received orientations on safety and waste segregation, and then worked in assigned coastal zones to collect, segregate, and document waste. With guidance from leaders and support from volunteers, they carried out a smooth, large-scale clean-up that made a meaningful impact on the shoreline.
They learned the value of teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community service. They realized that their small actions can create big change, that caring for nature requires consistency, and that true leadership means stepping up to protect and serve their community.
