The Howrah District Association organized a community service project to better their community by following the footprints and dream of our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi by taking part in his Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. Armed with fresh brooms, pickup buckets and spades, the participants cleaned the whole length of the approximately 1.5 km long Bhattanagar Road. All care was taken to ensure the personal hygiene of the participants who were furnished with disposable gloves and masks. Scouts bear the mission to “Create a better world”. This was indeed a laudable step to fulfill their mission in this pretext.
