Stream Cleaning and awarness Programme

I was inspired to start the Stream Cleaning and Awareness Programme by the need to protect our water sources, reduce pollution, and promote environmental responsibility among students and the community. The project aimed to encourage Scouts to take practical action in keeping streams clean and to raise awareness about the importance of clean water, biodiversity, and a healthy environment.

The project was carried out by organizing Scouts and students to clean nearby streams, collect and properly dispose of waste, and remove plastic and other pollutants. We also conducted awareness sessions on water conservation, waste management, and environmental protection, encouraging participants and the community to keep water sources clean.

I learned the importance of teamwork, community participation, and environmental responsibility. The project taught me that small actions, such as keeping streams clean and reducing waste, can make a meaningful difference. I also learned the importance of raising awareness and encouraging others to protect and conserve water resources.
