16-24 May the Vice-President of the Union of Brazilian Scouts Oscar Palmquist visited Ukraine in the framework of the "Strategic Planning" project, with the support of the international fund "Messengers of Peace". After the elaboration of the strategic priorities, the mission and vision of the organization by representatives of the regional branches of NOSU in March 2015, the organization had a new challenge - the creation of a detailed action plan. As head of the "Global Support" network, a former member of the World Scout Committee and Master of Strategic Planning, Oscar helped NOSU improve the organization's strategic priorities for the next few years, to develop an action plan and advised on the mission and vision of the organization. Due to the help and support of Oscar Palmquist NOSU developed the action plan’s draft for the implementation of NOSU strategy. Also within the framework of a working meeting with the representatives of the regional branches Oscar shared the secrets of increasing membership in the organization and presented the Brazilian-Ukrainian project "Scouts for Ukraine" to NOSU Adult leaders. As leader of the project in Brazil, Oscar gave NOSU project badges for their selling in Ukraine. It is significant that several NOSU Scout leaders have already joined the project and now carry on their Scout uniform this special badge! NOSU expresses sincere gratitude to Oscar for his help and support of Ukraine!
