STEM/Nova Program

My goal is to develop a college course that allows education majors to compare and contrast formal and informal education. The focus of the course is to explore science and mathematics curricula and practices at the elementary and/or middle level. Additionally, students would learn about the Boy Scouts of America and a scouting organization from another country. Students in the course, in collaboration with the foreign country's scouting organization, provide a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program. At the end of the program, scouts would earn the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) STEM/Nova badge. I am seeking assistance from other adult volunteers to help with the logistics of this unique college study abroad program.
