The 6th State Rally of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh was celebrated from 27th to 31st October at Sundarnagar, Distt. Mandi. A record 2014 participants (1795 Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and 219 Adult Leaders) participated and displayed their Scouting Skills in this Annual Mega event of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Himachal Pradesh. The Rally was opened by Sh. Sohan Lal Ji, Hon'ble MLA and Closed by Sh. Sandeep Kadam Ji, the Deputy Commissioner of Distt. Mandi. Sh. Prakash Chaudhary, Hon'ble Excise and Taxation Minister of Govt. of Himachal Pradesh also visited the Rally and appreciated the activities. The participants from all the 12 Districts of the state took part in various competitions like March Past, Colour Party, District gate, Pioneering Projects, Rangoli, Pageant Show, Food Plaza, Skit, Slogan Writing, Physical Display, District Exhibition, Folk Dance etc. All the State Officials- Sh. Dinkar Burathoki (State Chief Commissioner), Dr. Devender Kashyap (State Secretary), Sh. Durga Dass (State Training Commissioner-Scouts), Smt. Nirmal (State Training Commissioner-Guides), Smt. Santosh kumari (State Organising Commissioner-Guides), Smt. Kiran Thakur (Joint State Secretary) and Sh. Niranjan Manhas, Sh. Vijay Mahajan others were present during the entire period of the Rally. It was a successful event.
