Stakeholder Engagement for Better Waste Management
Solving environmental problems, or on this case, waste management, needs multi-stakeholder partnership. Based on that consciousness, and as the moment of World Environment Day 2024 coming, our Scouts group held a commemoration with the concept of stakeholder engagement and mutual thought-sharing.
We invited a total of 11 different parties: university's chancellors, interest clubs in university, 2 other Scout clans (Racana) 3 Environmental Special Troops, and 4 communities/NGOs on
environment issues in the province. With the lead of our Scouts group presentation on the vision of collaborative vision on waste management in the province, every party has their chance to share their thought on the vision.
This event was held to produce a mutual thought-sharing and insights of the waste problems and solutions. The learning is all about the insights of the discussion. With the consciousness of the importance of Pentahelix partnership, all of the parties will support every other party's goals to make a significant action.
