The Scouts were told to collect food for an Easter feast for some less fortunate families in our area, with the help of a local church.  They collected vegetables, fruit, pasta, rices, not only for the feast, but to plump up the families pantry for meals to come.  On a separate occasion, the Scouts collected donations to buy fresh fruit and hams to add to the baskets.  We also provided filled Easter eggs and toys for an Easter egg hunt, and children's Easter baskets.  On a separate occasion, the kids made cards to give to the families, the spread the holiday cheer.
