On 10th and 11th of November we, the scout members of Langthel Lower secondary School and Yudrungcholing Primary school made valuable educational visit to Shealing monastery. There were over hundred participants (97 scout members escorted by five scout masters, warden and matron of Langthel LSS)

The objectives were as follows for the scout members:

1.  to get acquainted with the trail signs and symbols.

2.  to acquire basic life skills.

3.  to build up team spirit.

4.  to build up their character.

5.  to exhibit their innate talents.

6. to let them stay away from undesirable associations.

7. to enjoy the spirit of adventure.

8. to come in touch, value and respect the culture and religion of the nation.
