Sorig Zhiney and Luejong
The good health of a teacher and supporting staff especially when the covid pandemic is not yet ended is very important as long as the education of student is concerned. The greenery education is all about the healthy lifestyle. Moreover, to share the knowledge I've gained from the Training of Trainers' (ToT) workshop on "Sorig Zhiney and Luejong" to all the Gaselo family. There are many people who aspire to lead a healthy and peaceful life but are unaware of the Sorig Zhiney and Luejong.
The project was carried out in Gaselo HSS inside the MPH. In the first session, the program started with offering of prayers to medicinal Buddha then followed by fifth King's zhabten and meditation. Second session was all about presentation on Sorig Zhiney and Luejong. Third and Fourth session was about the traditional Buddhist way of doing 32 different types of exercises. The program was energized by providing the participants with refreshment and tea breaks.
All the teachers and supporting staffs were trained on Sorig Zhiney and Luejong. The participants learned all different physical exercises and its benefits. The basic traditional medicine way of treatments was made known to all. Now, one can practice the Buddhist traditional way of treatments at home without having to visit the traditional hospital to avail the services.
The continuous practice of Sorig Zhiney and Luejong makes huge difference in the life of many people. Infact, many people visit Bhutan to avail this service by making lots of expenditures. The general exercises focus on the physical exercises only but the traditional Buddhist medicinal exercise focus both on breath and physical health which helps us to control our mind.
