Pakistan Boy Scouts Association (PBSA) has always been proactive to implement Scouts go Solar (SgS) program/activities. Under this program, eleven special scouts from Islamabad and Lahore went through a special training regarding solar skills with a purpose to introduce renewable energy to the special scouts and build their capacity in perspective of their future/career planning.

This special training under the title of "4S Training - Solar Skills for Special Scouts" was rganized at Nationa Headquarters of PBSA, Islamabad. 11 scouts from fdifferent intstitutions with different special needs were the participants. They learnt and practiced different uses of solar energy including Solar Cooking, Solar Art, Making Sundial, Making Solar Torch using self assembling kit and Making Solar Suitcase. They were also introduced to the negative aspects of the sun and prevention including first aid and Making Sunglasses.
