On June 2nd, 2019, under the innitatives of school scout department, we have planned bamboo and sapling plantation program to mark this auspicious day. The program was graced by Gup(head of locality) and few officials from foresty division. There were total of 300 participants including teachers, scouts students, localities and sector heads from gewog. School recieved 240 saplings and we have colleced 300 bamboo saplings from our students aand parents. The plantation program begun with presentation on the importance of plantation program followed by demonstration. It was whole day program and we have planted 480 saplings in a day. This remain as one of the historic movement in the history of this school as well as in dzongkhag.
