Social Forestry Day
As world changes by lots of chaos has been arising in our country like global warming and climate change which greatly had negative impact around the world. The main way we can reduce this are through planting trees as much as we can and during this day we usually celebrate social forestry day which is a great opportunity for all of us to plant a saplonh each knowing its benefits.
Some non-scouts along with scouts planted saplings under the girls toilet and around the school boundary. We had asked them to care the tree strictly knowing the consequences of planting it. Fencing were down around the sapling to avoid big animals. Importance of this day and importance of planting tree were know by all the students.
Students and staff who never planted a tree before had a great chance to do so. And almost all of us were motivated to plant more and had a great satisfaction while planting. It was a memorable day for us because we could plant and we felt lilelike.davingbthe counrty, the world.
I knew how to plant a tree and how to take care of it. The reason for having such day in our country were known to us and how important it has become now. I have also learnt that united we plant more changes will occur.
