Social Development(Revive the Road)

We started this project because we noticed that broken roads were creating serious problems for people in the community. As responsible Rover Scouts, we wanted to take action instead of waiting for others. By repairing the roads, we aimed to reduce suffering and inspire others to take initiative for social development.
We executed our project at the Scout Training Centre in Bahadurpur, Gazipur. First, we surveyed the nearby populated area to identify the worst damaged roads. Then, we gathered necessary materials like bricks, sand, and cement with the help of local supporters. On the scheduled day, our Rover Scouts worked together to repair the roads by filling potholes and fixing broken parts. Finally, we put up signs to raise awareness about road maintenance and the importance of community service.
Through this project, I learned how to help achieve the goal of serving sustainable cities and society, building a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
