One of the most adventurous moments for scouts was to spend their time in going closer to nature and see what is really important for collective preservation of mother nature.so hiking is one of those indicator for people to see what things are changing in and around .on 3 November 189 nachung scouts from one of the primary school  and 22 leaders from sherubtse ccollege went into deep concern of cultural and environment through organizing one day hike where traditional way of cooking were taught to chay chay scout and nachung scouts during lunch hours .it was astounding for me to see varieties of Bhutanese dish  been prepared with good taste .abilities of youth can be upgrade through scouting.
