Soap Cycling in Shenzhen
As we know, every year, hundreds of tons of soap are thrown away after using lightly in hotels, causing great waste and environmental problems. At the same time,1.4 million children die from largely preventable diseases like pneumonia and diarrhoea. Collect disposable soap from the hotels and turn it into new soap, then transfer it to places lacking sanitary resources to improve the hygiene situation.
Join Soap Cycling, recycles and distributes soap to disadvantaged communities. From cleaning, grinding, mixing, pressing molding to handmake wrapping, done into the boxes, almost 60kg soap will be sent to Shigangzhang leprosy Rehabilitation Village. Our Troop 1948 in Shenzhen carried out the soap cycling activity with Troop1979 and 1949 . In coming months, we'll keep going on the project.
Resource circularity becomes the norm, especially for lifesaving resources like soap.Hopefully, people no longer die from preventable diseases due to lack of access to hygiene products.
