Smart Power, Smart Planet-2025
Electricity is a limited resource, and unnecessary wastage contributes to environmental damage and rising energy costs. Our goal was to promote smart energy habits and inspire the community to reduce electricity waste.
As the Former Senior Patrol Leader of BIAM Model School & College Scout Group, I led this awareness campaign with the support of Patrol Leaders Md. Mir Ashraful and Rafiqul Islam Uday, along with rover member Md. Raiyan Mollah from Samatat Open Scout Group. We distributed informative leaflets to local people and shopkeepers, encouraging them to switch off unused lights and appliances, and spread awareness within their circles.
We learned how simple reminders can lead to responsible energy usage. The campaign helped us improve communication, teamwork, and our understanding of sustainable living practices.
