Share Life, Give Blood
Our motivation was to serve humanity and raise health awareness through free blood donation and grouping. Many people don’t know their blood type, risking delays in emergencies. By offering this service, we aimed to provide vital health information and promote voluntary blood donation, building a healthier and more caring community.
We organized a 2-day blood donation and grouping campaign with healthcare professionals at our university. 700 students tested their blood group and 150 donated blood. The event had 3 zones: registration, testing, and donation, all managed by 15 volunteers. Awareness materials were shared, and results were documented for future use.
Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and community engagement. We gained experience in organizing health-related events, improved our communication and leadership skills, and realized how small actions like blood donation can make a big impact on saving lives and raising awareness.
