Serving with Purpose
I was inspired to start this project because I realized that maintaining the cleanliness of a place of worship is a shared responsibility. A mosque is not only a place for worship, but also a facility used by the community for various activities. Through a simple action such as cleaning the mosque, I wanted to make a meaningful contribution by creating a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable environment for the worshippers.
I carried out this project through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. I prepared the cleaning equipment, then cleaned the interior and exterior areas of the mosque, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning the ablution area, arranging prayer equipment, and managing waste properly. After completing the activity, I conducted a final check to ensure the mosque became cleaner, tidier, and more comfortable for the worshippers.
From this project, I learned that simple actions, such as maintaining environmental cleanliness, can bring meaningful benefits to the community. I also learned the importance of responsibility, care, cooperation, and sincerity in serving others. This activity taught me that as a Scout member, I should be able to make a positive contribution and become a person who is more aware and caring toward the environment and the people around me.
