Serving Humanity During The Pandemic COVID-19

After the COVID -19 pandemic break out Sheldon Kiplagat a scout from Mombasa, Kenya scouts took a step and decided to volunteer as a support and quick response team at their state county public health. he was ready to save humanity by going to the field with health officers covid-19 response team of Mombasa county health department to take samples, do data entry on the summary sheet of patients and co-ordinate to the Covid-19 labs for test later after submit results to the individuals.
well the team had a planned out daily schedule that showed what is to be done at each and every particular time. this included the data entry time, field time for sample collection ,submitting to the lab for texting ,releasing of the results to individuals and managing panic situation if need be upon receiving of their results.
many citizen in the state were really satisfied by our action leave along mentioning the department of health workers who were guiding us along the time. this showed scouting at a different level of volunteering despite the dander that we ere involved the community member believed that scouts have more than just marching and distributing supplies when need be to sacrificing their time to perform professional duties voluntarily.
life is never perfect without scouting skills since we learned to be brave ,resilient, patient, prayerful ,careful, optimistic with the covid-19 pandemic and more so despite the greed, race ,gender nationality and religion when humanity calls scouts serve best to their knowledge learned through their scouting methods and applications.
