Service of Rover and Rangers Of GC Kullu In Pride of Kullu

Pride of Kullu also the theme of Internatiional Kullu Dussehra 2015. The administration of Kullu organized Pride of Kullu Nati to all the peoples of Kullu Distt. This was also attemptation for Guinness world of record. The nati was also registered in Limmcca Book of record in 2014 . So the main purpose of the project was to successfully register this nati in Guinness world of record. For that the entry of the people was demanded in digital form by Guinness. So SDM Kullu Mr. Rohit Rathore gave this opportunity to us Rover and Ranger of GC Kullu. So to discuss about this meeting we organized the meeting and grant permission from Group leader Dr. N.L. Sharma. The meeting was held in the presence of Rover leader prof.Shyam Singh and Ranger leader Prof. Sakshi Rana . After all the meetings and formalities our group was in action. We had a last meeting on 25 Oct.2015 in which we get all the details and get hand to hand practice of data entry. SDM Kullu Sh. Rohit Rathore and IAS officer Mr. Aashutosh Garg were asscoting us. So on 26 Oct. 2015 our 50 rovers and rangers were in action. Some were assigned for data entry some were assigned for refreshment and some were assigned for photographic work. We started the work at 7 am and get free at 3 pm. It was a challenging task to deal with about 14000 peoples but our group did best of their efforts. And for that we were praised by DC Kullu Sh. Rakesh Kanwar and all the administration and also by the people who were there to perform Nati. We served each of them refreshment also. Police and army were also there to help us. Many people asked about us that who r u?? and we told them about scouts and scouting. At the end witness of the Nati who were also from us gave their view to Guinness team. And Project get completed. Data entry, refreshment, witness ,photography were the main thing we focused for. At the end SDM sir thanked us and enjoyed Nati with us. And he promise a get together with the Rover and Ranger of GC Kullu.
