Service Moments of Honourable Hajj Passengers, Phase-1

The Scout pledge is to help self, country and others. The more you assist others, the more prayers you'll receive from them to Almighty Allah. With this in mind, I am committed to serving the Haji community at the 2024 Hajj camp, staying true to the Scout pledge.

My project took place at Ashkona Hajj Camp, Dhaka Airport. Over the course of this project, I assisted Hajj pilgrims by working 14 shifts from 22nd May to 29th May, with each shift lasting 6 hours. At the main gate, Gate 1, and Gate 2, my primary responsibility was to verify the identity of pilgrims entering the camp. As an in-charge, I also managed the office desk, Distribute Duty among rover scouts also checking and confirming the information of each Hajj traveler entering the camp.

Through this project, I gained valuable insights into the second part of the Scout Promise, "Always to help others," by serving Hajj pilgrims.Through the efforts of my team and me in this project, thousands of people staying in the Hajj camp received essential information, ensuring their safety and the security of their belongings. In addition to assisting Hajj pilgrims, we also supported other defense forces, such as the police, in carrying out their duties.
