208 scouts and 10 scout leaders from six schools in Thimphu Dzongkhag took part in a day-long highway cleaning campaign from Semtokha to Dochula. Participating scouts were from Wnagbama CS, Deshi HSS, Khasadrapchu MSS, Kuzhugcehn MSS, Yangchen Gatshel MSS, and Hongtsho PS. 

More than 15 trucks of waste were being collected from the roadsides. Te collected wastes were dumped to the Thimphu City Land-fill area (Memey Lhakha). 

The day-long activity was one of the activity under the banner of #Environmental Education in Scouting and #SDG goal 11: sustainable communities.
