Seminar within the Framework of Collaboration Between “HASK” and Danish Scout Association

These days the National Scout Movement of Armenia “HASK” was glad to host Martin Kristensen, a good friend of the organization and a Danish international scout-trainer. This time he arrived in Armenia together with two other trainers, Christian Gow and Ronja Pilgard. The visit was aimed at the development of collaboration between the two organizations, as well as at activization of exchange programs and mutual visits. The program was carried out by the initiative of the Central Board of “HASK” and with the assistance of the chief scout. The program was launched on October 17, at the Byurakan Campsite of the National Scout Movement of Armenia. The main topic of the school-jamboree was the “Patrol system” but the participants were taught also other important knowledge and topics, necessary for working and regulating the activities in scout groups. About 23 scout-leaders from 8 chapters of “HASK” took part in the school-jamboree. In spite of the unfavorable weather conditions, the trainers and participants did their best for the ultimate implementation of the program. Communication between the attendees helped them to exchange knowledge and skills and the scout-leaders of “HASK” improved their knowledge base on patrol system. The closing ceremony of the program took place on October 19. Central Board members of the National Scout Movement of Armenia “HASK” said words of gratitude to the Danish trainers, highly rated the cooperation in this format and expressed their hope that more such programs will be carried out in the future.
