SELFLESS SERVICE AT JAGANNATH RATH YATRA.

I was inspired to serve during the Rath Yatra Mela at Park Street, Kolkata, as it was a wonderful opportunity to help devotees and contribute to the smooth conduct of the event. As a Rover Scout, I believe in selfless service, compassion, and community welfare. My goal was to serve people with dedication by distributing water and Mahaprasadam, assisting the organisers, and promoting the spirit of devotion and Seva.

Along with another Rover, I served at the Rath Yatra Mela at Park Street, Kolkata. We distributed sarbat, cold water, and the Mahaprasadam of Prabhu Jagannath Dev. We assisted in collecting funds for Go Seva, helped devotees select books on Lord Krishna and Lord Rama, supported the clothing stalls, collected prasadam coupons, and managed the crowd to ensure the smooth conduct of the mela.

This project taught me the true spirit of Seva, teamwork, and responsibility. Serving devotees and supporting the organisers improved my communication and leadership skills. I learned that small acts of kindness and dedication can make a meaningful difference in the community.
