Scouts Victoria Volunteer Leaders

Scouting in Australia is Community based Scouting and all leaders within Scouts Victoria are volunteers giving their time each week to run our section programs, attend planning meetings and to run weekend activities. To make the world a better place and working with our youth to learn life skills and leadership skills and to contribute to their local community each of our leaders have given 220 hours to Scouting in the past year. It is this annual contribution that has seen ten years of consecutive growth of our youth members increasing our membership 30% over the ten years. A huge thanks to our 3384 volunteer leaders who have worked with our youth to see this happen. This means that our volunteer leaders have given a total of 744,480 minimum to developing our youth to become better citizens in the past twelve months. We acknowledge this service and look forward to seeing the many community projects undertaken in the future.
