Scouts take part in orienteering challenge

Over 200 scout members from eight primary schools and seven secondary schools took part in the second Orienteering Scouts Challenge at the National Scouts Training and Activity Centre at Scouts Building in Beribi yesterday.

The event was organised by the Brunei Darussalam Scout Association (PPNBD). Scouts Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali launched the event.

The competition was divided into four categories – Cub Scouts, Junior Scouts, Venture Scouts, and Open Individual Leaders.

The match was part of PPNBD’s development programme to improve the skills, raising awareness on health and strengthening relationship among members.A prize presentation was also held for winners of each category.

Scout commissioners, district scout commissioners, executive scout officer and scout leaders were also present.
