The members of the Colombo Scout Youth Council and the Colombo Rovers took part in Habitat Youth Build 2015, which was held on 21st March 2015 in Sampur, Trincomalee. The Trinco Rovers too joined on the invitation of Colombo Rovers. Two Scout Teams comprising of 6 Senior Scouts and 11 Rovers worked on building two homes for two less-privileged families in Sampur. Apart from the two scout teams, the Youth Build had the participation of over 60 youth teams comprising of local and international volunteers. The Famous Tamil Actress Pooja G Umashankar being the Youth Ambassador for the Habitat Youth Build 2015 joined with Scouts on building Homes.
