A One-day workshop/activity on GO SOLAR BADGE was organized by the Rovers' Club GCU in collaboration with Pakistan Boy Scouts Association on 3rd April 2019 at Government College University, Lahore. The purpose of the workshop was to generate awareness among our young scouts with respect to the use of solar energy for constructive purposes. The scouts learned various ways to utilize solar energy in their daily lives and for different purposes. It included activities such as doing solar art, making solar torches, using
solar compasses, making sunglasses as well as making and using sun dials for time estimation. Mr. Asif Mahmood, Global Coordinator Scout Go Solar Program, from National Headquarter, Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, conducted the workshop at Faiz Hall, GC University, Lahore.
