SCOUTS GITEGA CLIMATE CHANGE MOVEMENT
What inspires us for this climate change project is that the
most of the present generations living in developed countries
and more and more people living in emerging countries (the "new
consumers') enjoy the benefits of their emissions.
We plan to sensitize the actors in the communities so that they understand the issue and against the most emitting countries so that they can reduce their emissions in order to keep the 1.5 degree celcius
My project is located in Burundi more precisely in the province of Gitega.
I intend to work with the scouts community of the Group Espoir de Magarama.
The number of beneficiary person is difficult to determine given the scale of the project but there are more than 100 people in the community but it will grow over time.
So many young people are interested in this climate change project.
Personally, I am the animator of the Laudato Si movement.
I have solid knowledge and I intend to share it with my community of which I am a part.
