SCOUTS EMERGENCY RESPONSE
I am Jemimah Mwaura from Kenya A rover scout from Nairobi county,a student of Coenselling Psychology who is a certified first aider,certified Fire Safety & Emergency Responder.
Having been among the national responders who managed to respond to the EMBAKASI GAS EXPLOSION,I saw that there was a need of our communities to he trained and more equiped regarding safety measures and life saving skills.
Alot has been happening in our county Kenya that includes:Road accidents ,floods and fire disasters.
We did a background check up on schools around Nairobi County in one subcounty that is Embakasi East and identified the schools that has not undergone the first aid training.
I need to get more resources.
I needed funds to facilitate the next training.
There was need of more trainings to continue equipping the society with the necessary knowledge and skills.
