Scouts doing gardening works (Organic Vegetables)

Scouts doing kitchen gardening works. Our School is located above 3500m from the sea level and most of the parents of our students are nomadic or herds-man. They depend on animal and nature products. They barely do gardening work and our students lack the knowledge and skills. As to impart knowledge and skills Scouts are doing gardening works on scout day (every Friday). Some of our students are from other localities and they have a knowledge and skills about gardening and they are teaching to others. Most of the students are aware  of eating fresh vegetables and fruits as a diet but as they are brought up in the mountain top they barely get balance diet. As a scout they give awareness to the younger ones about the importance of eating green Vegetables in their meals. we are prepared to have green vegetables. "Once a Scout. Always a Scout". Happy scouting.
