Following the publishing of the new World Adults in Scouting Policy in April 2018, Scouts Australia embarked on a full review of their aging 2015 policy. Using the new content from WOSM, Scouts Australia refereshed all of it's material. It focussed on more of the "why and what" of AiS and less about the "how", enabling the process side of things to be built out in fact sheets. Another big change was to make this a publication applicable for "all" Adults in Scouting and not just targeted at those that are managers. A key call out was to align the policy to Scouts Australia's new Youth Program and in particular the principle of Youth leading / Adults supporting. The feedback has been very positive and has set a new standard for the development of other policies across Australia.
