Scouts in Action:Our kind of Labor Day Celebration

Anywhere I go, there are wastes that was littered by irresponsible individuals. Me and my fellow scouts have initiated an Ecological Solid Waste Management Drive in our School to help maintain the cleanliness in our school and segregate the wastes.
Our project was executed in our school grounds. First ,together with my fellow scouts, we had an orientation about Ecological Solid Waste Management, how unsegregated solid wastes affect us. Afterwards, we volunteered to conduct a school clean-up drive to apply what we have learned during the orientation.
Aside from my fellow scout, the orientation was attended by students in our school. It impacted the participants though their increased awareness and taking action to help eradicate the problem of unsegregated wastes.
I learned so many things during this project, about the massive wastes circulating our globe, about how long different waste are degraded. It helps me to be aware of how I can contribute to reducing the waste created in the planet.
