As a Scout of Ilocos Norte, Laoag City (Philippines) I must honor and give importance to the efforts of the people who protected the coutry and those who risked their lives for our freedom, one of them is the late Roque B. Ablan Sr. a lawyer, teacher, journalist, labor leader and war hero AN ILOCANO. So giving him a little bit of our time, to give thanks for their efforts together with his comrades we celebrate Ablan Day joyfully.
