Scouting in Service of Others

Scouts demonstrated that humanitarian values can be expressed through simple yet meaningful actions—sharing with others.

The social activity titled “Scouting in Service of Others” began with careful preparation and planning. Scout members, together with their leaders, started by purchasing food and drinks to be distributed as takjil (light meals for breaking the fast). Once everything was ready, the team proceeded to distribute the takjil around the Central Cilacap area, reaching out to passersby, street vendors, and local residents shortly before the time to break their fast.

This activity was not only a form of care and compassion but also a moment to cultivate the spirit of teamwork, empathy, and social responsibility among the Scouts. Through this project, Scouts demonstrated that humanitarian values can be expressed through simple yet meaningful actions—sharing with others.
