Scouting Service in Hajj Camp 2025
Every year thousands of pilgrims gather at the Hajj Camp. We saw a need for assistance, especially with elderly and first-time pilgrims. As Rovers, our duty to serve inspired us to support the Hajj Camp operation and help pilgrims with essential services.
We served at the Hajj Camp for 7 days. Our team worked in various areas like dormitories, main gate, lift service, and crowd management. I personally helped many pilgrims by installing and guiding them on the use of the official “Labbaik” mobile app. We ensured safety, support, and hospitality for all.
We learned the importance of serving large crowds with patience, teamwork, and discipline. This project improved our communication and technical skills, especially by helping elderly pilgrims with mobile apps. It reminded us how Scouts can serve peacefully and responsibly during national-level programs.
